South African tourism bolsters value proposition for Indian travelers with exclusive offers in partnership with Air Seychelles

South African Tourism has announced the launch of an exclusive airline ticket campaign to India in partnership with Air Seychelles. The campaign will run for a month between July 25 and August 25, 2022, offering return tickets on the Mumbai-Johannesburg route for just INR 38,148. The trip will be valid from July 25, 2022 to January 31, 2023. Air Seychelles is also offering an additional 20% off the base fare for consumers who use promo code 00G4S51T. At a time of rising fuel prices and air fares, this value-driven offering from the tourism board is expected to significantly support and encourage the growing visitation of Indian tourists to South Africa.

Through this targeted digital campaign, South African Tourism hopes to engage with millennials, childless dual-income households and Indian families. The campaign will showcase the value-friendly propositions offered by Rainbow Nation, allowing travelers to splurge more on wellness and experiences while saving on airfares. This conversion campaign is an extension of the More & More campaign launched by the tourist board earlier this year and will entice consumers to make their travel bookings with direct calls to action.

Earlier this year, the tourism board set out a strategic roadmap to achieve a 64% increase in Indian visitor numbers in 2022. With over 11,274 Indian visitors traveling to South Africa between January and April 2022, the tourist office is well on its way to exceeding these targets.

This ticket price of INR 38,148 makes South Africa an affordable long-haul destination for Indian travellers. This fare is also available for Indian tour operators on the Air Seychelles website.
